1. Who we are

Hey Pingr ("we", "our", "us") is a WhatsApp messaging API platform operated by Hey Pingr Technologies. Our registered contact email is support@heypingr.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

• Account data — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Usage data — API requests, message counts, session activity, and error logs to operate the platform and display your analytics dashboard.
• Payment data — billing information is processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or bank details.
• Message content — messages sent through your WhatsApp sessions pass through our infrastructure to be delivered. We do not read, store, or sell message content.
• Technical data — IP addresses, browser type, and device information for security and debugging.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To deliver the API and messaging services you pay for.
• To send you transactional emails (magic login links, receipts).
• To detect fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data storage and retention

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the US/EU). Activity logs are retained for 90 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account. After deletion, data is purged within 30 days.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party processors:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication (magic links, Google sign-in).
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Supabase — database and file storage.
• Render — backend hosting.
• Firebase Hosting — frontend hosting.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens stored in localStorage). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@heypingr.com. We will respond within 14 days.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. API keys are hashed before storage. We use row-level security on our database to ensure users can only access their own data. Payment data never touches our servers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll notify you by email for material changes. The latest version is always at heypingr.com/privacy.
